Colour and their uses in different rooms: My opinion

My Opinions about use of colours in different rooms:

Colours definitely have a very important role to play in each and every room of a house..be very careful before you choose a colour for your bedroom or children's room, kitchen, library and other rooms of the house:

This is a Georgian living room, with a touch of cream. Rich coloured walls, damask fabric and opulence is combined with brick wallpaper.

I feel, the scheme is appropriate to be used in a living room.

  • Hence I feel this is a good example of use of red in a living room.

This is an Oriental Living Room. The colours used mainly are red and blue. This gives a sense of vibrant colours and somewhat confused colour schemes.

  • Hence I feel this is a bad example of use of red even if it used in a living room it is not done properly.

This is a totally Red bedroom. A bright red bedroom is created, completed with rich red overlapping fabrics and a dancing pole! This colour is totally unsoothing for a bedroom.

  • Hence I feel this is a bad example of use of red in a bed room.

This is an example of a green Hollywood lounge. This design includes colonial influences and film star elegance, along with faded colours and aged interiors, this gives a sense of an old interior which may be its theme.

  • Hence I feel this is a good example of use of green in a living room.

This is a green monochromatic bedroom. The colours used are very soothing to the eye and the colours present are just in tints.

  • Hence I feel this is a good example of use of green in a bed room.

This is an example of a Boy's Green Football Bedroom.A bold and bright boy's room with green walls is created but the colour used is unsuitable for a bedroom.

  • Hence I feel this is a bad example of use of green in a bed room.

This is an example of an Ethnic Dining Room

An ethnic dining room with a contemporary twist and Moroccan influences is created. Vibrant golden walls and funky artwork make this a room for any occasion and this is appropriate for a dining room.

  • Hence I feel this is a good example of use of yellow in a living room.

This is a children’s room. The use of yellow here is very attractive. The colour combination used is good for a children’s room.

  • Hence I feel this is a good example of use of yellow in a children’s room.

This yellow bedroom is created with the theme of a gothic vampires’ playground with a modern twist. Gothic features such as gargoyles and sand textured walls are used to create this unusual yellow bedroom. The colour scheme is inappropriate to be used in a bedroom.

  • Hence I feel this is a bad example of use of yellow in a bedroom.

This is an example of a Baby Pink Bedroom
For a fairytale nursery; use of bright pinks and purples to create a fantasy bedroom for the child is appropriate. Use of lush thick pile carpet that is kind on small feet and softens a fall. Overall the colour scheme is good for a baby’s bedroom as it softens the mood of the room.

  • Hence I feel this is a good example of use of purple in a baby’s room.

This is a relaxing and tranquil bedroom The design incorporates contemporary ideas and sharp edges with soft flowing fabrics to create a luxurious lilac bedroom that is very soothing in atmosphere.

  • Hence I feel this is a good example of use of purple in a bedroom.

The room is transformed to an opulent and gaudy formal dining room. Rich purple walls combine with traditional overtones create too much gaudy atmosphere that is unnecessary for such a small dining room.

  • Hence I feel this is a bad example of use of purple in a dining space.
