WOOD FURNITURE CARE TIPS :

• Furniture is to be dusted frequently with a clean, soft, lint-free cloth - preferably 100% cotton.
• Spills are to be cleaned up immediately using a blotting action, not a wiping action.
• The kitchen cabinets should be thoroughly cleaned after extensive cooking to remove any dust or grease that may have settled on the wood surface.
• A quality furniture polish is to be used approximately once a month.
• Objects should not be dragged across the wood surface.
• When writing with a ball point pen, a protective pad should be used.
• Humidity that is too high or too low can cause wood to warp.
• Rubber or plastic items should not be placed on wood - their ingredients can react adversely with the wood finish.
• Silicone polishes should not be used. The oil which is an ingredient, can seep into the finish.
• Accessories on furniture should be moved occasionally so they do not set in the same spot.Furniture should never be placed in direct sunlight, as sunlight will cause fading and/or cracking.
